尉石博士于2009年取得山東大學物理學學士學位，于2015年取得中國科學院大學原子與分子物理專業博士學位；2015年至2016年在中國航天科技集團公司任工程師；2016年至2019年，先后在香港中文大學、華東師范大學從事博士后研究工作。2019年11月，入職南方科技大學，任助理研究員。
